These delicious chicken drumsticks are easy to prepare and a delight for both children and grownups!

Ingredients for 4 servings
2 tsp tomato purée
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice
8 chicken drumsticks
880g potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
4 carrots, sliced
320g peas, frozen
4 tbsp milk
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 pinch salt

Add the tomato purée, soy sauce and lemon juice together into a mixing bowl, preferably plastic. Mix them together well and season with black pepper. Next, add the chicken drumsticks to the mixture and make sure you coat them with it. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan oven 180°C. Take the drumsticks and put them in a roasting tin and roast for 30 minutes. When 20 minutes have passed, you can brush them with the remaining glaze.
Let the chicken roast and, in the meantime, boil the potatoes and carrots in separate saucepans. Put the peas on to cook in boiling water, 5 minutes before the chicken is ready.

Last stage: drain and mash the potatoes, pour and beat in and the milk and season with salt and black pepper. Serve the chicken drumsticks with mashed potatoes, carrots and peas.
